New Delhi, Jul 12 (PTI) Honeywell has appointed Vikas Chadha as President of India operations with effect from August 1, 2016. Chadha, who is the Managing Director, Honeywell Automation India Ltd (HAIL), will assume responsibility as country leader for Honeywell India effective from August 1, 2016, Honeywell said in a statement. Commenting on the development, Honeywell Global High Growth Regions President Shane Tedjarati said: "Vikas takes over a very strong Honeywell India business that is an important part of our companys manufacturing, engineering and software development strategies." Chadha, who is with Honeywell for seven years, has served as HAIL Managing Director from January 1, 2014. "The resignations of Vikas Chadha and Anant Maheshwari have been noted and accepted by the Board of Directors vide board resolutions dated July 12, 2016," said HAIL.
