A man was found on Diaz Drive with serious facial injuries shortly after midnight on Friday November 16. A homicide inquiry has been launched after a Flaxmere man found with unexplained facial injuries more than a week ago died. The man died at Wellington Hospital on Saturday morning after being found injured in Flaxmere. The 45-year-old local man was discovered with unexplained "significant facial injuries" in the middle of Diaz Dr on November 16.
