Photo: Abbey PalmerPolice have launched a homicide investigation following the discovery of a woman's body at an Invercargill motel. Southland area commander Inspector Mike Bowman said police were called to a North Road, Waikiwi motel at 11am today, where they located the body of a woman. A staff member at the motel told the Herald she did not know what had happened and was waiting for an update from police. Anyone who has information that can help the investigation is asked to call 105, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
