Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said the nation has been freed once again by the execution of Bangabandhu’s killer Abdul Majed. His execution was a Mujib Year gift to the people from our prime minister, he added. Majed’s death sentence was executed within four days after President Abdul Hamid turned down his clemency plea on April 8. The same day, the Dhaka District and Sessions Judge’s court issued the death warrant for Majed, who was arrested in Dhaka on April 7.
