HOLLISTON — When an at-risk person goes missing or is having some sort of an emergency, a matter of just a few minutes can make a difference. That’s why the Holliston Police Department has started the Children and Resident Encounter (C.A.R.E.) program — a database of information about at-risk residents in town, Police Chief Matthew Stone said. “Trying to collect all of the information you need in the heat of moment can be difficult,” said Stone. All of the information is instantly available to officers in the field via their cruiser computers, the chief said.
