Holidays blow as only 12 countries could be safe for Brits to visit by June


Reports say that on Monday he is expected to announce plans for a return to travel abroad using a 'traffic light' style system. This would reportedly see travel to 'red' countries banned, holidays to 'amber' nations needing a negative test and quarantine, with 'green' countries giving some form of exemption but with testing. Three other popular destinations, Spain, Greece and Turkey, would reportedly be on the amber list, which includes quarantine measures. Summer holiday plans are in serious doubt with a third wave of Covid afflicting many European countries, also struggling with vaccine rollouts.
