Our BureauCalcutta: Police arrested 518 people across Calcutta on charges of disorderly conduct on Thursday on the occasion of Holi. In the Bidhannagar commissionerate area, 223 people were arrested on disorderly conduct charges between Thursday and Friday. Ten police stations, including Baguiati, Lake Town, Airport, Rajarhat, New Town, are in the commissionerate's jurisdiction. "The number of arrests for disorderly conduct was quite high this year," an officer in Lalbazar said. In the city 89 people were arrested in the south suburban division, 81 each from the north and port divisions, 79 from south division, 50 from south east, 43 from east, 41 from south west, 40 from east suburban, and 14 from central.
