Health officials have confirmed a person who previously returned a "weak positive" test result in Northland has now been confirmed with Covid-19. Whangārei Mayor Sheryl Mai said the top of the North Island was on tenterhooks to see if Covid had spread across Northland after the positive case was confirmed. "We are holding our breath and hoping that we don't have Covid in Whangārei or Northland," the mayor told The AM Show today. Two new cases of Covid have also emerged on Auckland's North Shore.
