Hokonui Fashion Design Awards: Live CoverKAVINDA HERATH/STUFF Hokonui Fashion Awards wardrobe team Lyn Roughan, Irene McCall, Anna Balloch and Shirley Copland hold some garments on the stage as the shows lights and sounds were tested earlier this week. A designer from Winton scooped one of the top awards at the Hokonui Fashion Design Awards in Gore on Saturday night. Abbey McMaster took home the title of Young Designer of the Year. The other major award, the Heather Patterson QSM memorial trophy for best Southland designer went to Marianne Chia.
