PORT KLANG: The Food Flotilla For Myanmar which delivered the much-needed food, water and medical supplies to the displaced Rohingya community in Myanmar and Bangladesh was a big success, says Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Tun Hussein. PAS and Umno members also volunteered and worked side-by-side during aid mission. Hishammuddin added that the flotilla mission was important because it brought many people together despite their differing stands and political ideologies. The camaraderie among volunteers was promising and we hope it is the beginning of something big,'' said Hishammuddin. Also at the cruise centre to welcome volunteers home were Health Minister Datuk Seri S. Subramaniam and Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Mah Siew Keong.
