KLUANG: The King Salman Centre for International Peace (KSCIP), which is to be set up in the country, will bolster the efforts of Islamic countries in correcting the negative perception of Islam. "I'm confident that this centre will help with efforts among Islamic countries to correct negative perceptions towards Islam," said Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein (pic). "Further details about the centre will be announced soon during an official visit by Saudi Arabia Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed Salman," he said. The Government is mulling over the location of KSCIP and are set to use a temporary premises for its initial operations. The establishment of KSCIP in Malaysia was the outcome of a four-day visit by King Salman Abdulaziz Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia here in February.
