The Supreme Patriarch and senior monks also went up the Royal Crematorium to place funeral flowers. Other Royal Family members then took turns to place their flowers. A salute of 21 shots fired by both rifles and canons was carried out in honour of His Majesty the late King Rama IX during the rite.
