Westbound lanes along a stretch of Highway 1 in Surrey, B.C. reopened around 9:45 p.m. PT after a fatal rush-hour accident. Rob Anderson, the accident involved two vehicles at 176 Street late Friday afternoon. Police believe an eastbound pickup truck crossed the median and collided with a westbound SUV. The accident resulted in sizable traffic delays during the rush-hour commute.
