Kittikorn Thepyu-amnuay, chief of the province’s Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, said he had asked relevant agencies to erect the red flags on Gulf coast beaches from Hua Hin to Bang Saphan. Kittikorn said officials would be deployed to try and ensure safety at the beaches. He also reported that seawater had flooded the coastal road in Muang district.
