Otago MMA fighters Lapa Halangahu, Taylor Garrett, Hannah Dawson and Pat Hamer will represent New Zealand at the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation amateur world championships in Bahrain next week. For four Otago MMA fighters that tasty combination is getting them all the way to Bahrain where they will contest the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation amateur world championships next week. New Zealand is sending a team of 13 fighters and Otago has supplied almost a quarter of the competitors. New Zealand coach Matt Toa has high hopes for the quartet. It is being hosted by the Bahrain MMA Federation in Manama at Khalifa Sports City Arena on November 12-19.
