Justice Salma Masud Chowdhury and Justice AKM Zahirul Hoque issued the order on Tuesday. The court asked BRTC and Swajan Paribahan to pay half of the amount within a month. The operators were also asked to inform in written statements by June 25 after the payment was made. Barrister Ruhul Quddus who moved for Rajib’s family said the bank accounts would be opened to receive the funds. Rajib, who lost his right hand after it became stuck between two buses in Bangla Motor area on Apr 4, succumbed to his injuries at DMCH on Apr 17.
