The independent candidate distributed sweets all across his voting constituency, Bogra 4, consisting of the Kahaloo and Nandigram upazilas on Tuesday. He plans on visiting the returning officer’s office on Wednesday to apply and receive the “lion” symbol; one that he prefers to campaign with. Locals in Kahaloo and Nandigram said that discussions regarding Hero Alom have been going on across the towns. However, Tansen refused to comment on Hero Alom himself. Kahaloo Upazila Chairman and upazila Awami League President Helal Uddin Kabiraj said Hero Alom is a new face in this constituency, and a popular figure because of the media.
