Fortnite Season 8 is just hours away, and now Epic Games has announced exactly when servers will go down for the v8.0 patch. The v8.0 patch will introduce a ton of new content including map changes, a possible volcano, and the very real chance of boats being added as vehicles. Season 7 was ostensibly the Christmas season, but it introduced planes and ziplines and all kinds of stuff that had nothing to do with the holidays. In any case, as per usual downtime will begin at 4 am ET / 1 am PT / 9 am UTC tomorrow morning. It usually lasts one to two hours, though with all the major changes coming between seasons it could potentially last longer.
