Sensor Tower says that Epic has made $1.5 million from Fortnite on iOS so far worldwide, with $1 million of that coming in the first 72 hours alone. Fortnite has brought in less than other high profile rivals in the same window, but with a few caveats. There are no loot box-type mechanics in Fortnite, meaning that profitable gambling-like IAPs are not on the table as a huge revenue driver like they are with something like Clash Royale. Most importantly, Fortnite on iOS is mainly just an extension of the main game on console or PC for many players, thanks to all versions sharing the same account. So the mobile version drawing in this much by itself is still pretty impressive.
