Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will be the first full-fledged Pokémon RPG on the Nintendo Switch following last year's spinoffs. Along with the game announcement and Galar region reveal, we also learned who the three Pokémon Starters would be. As is often the case, these consist of one Grass Pokémon, one Fire Pokémon and one Water Pokémon. You'll pick your Starter at some point in the beginning of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield and they'll be your companion from that point on.
