13 Mar 2024| 06:25am ISTJustice Shriram Madhusudan Modak lauds G R Kare College of LawTeam HeraldMARGAO: Justice Shriram Madhusudan Modak of Bombay High Court, lauded efforts of G R Kare College of Law, Margao, to make the law college a knowledge hub. Justice Modak was addressing the legal fraternity whilst delivering the fourth lecture of the GRK-Judiciary Talks on the topic ‘Broad Aspects of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023’. Delivering the lecture, Justice Modak said that the new legislation i.e Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam will replace the existing age old Indian Evidence Act and shall come into force on July 1, 2024. On the occasion, Justice Modak also released the GRK e-newsletter named 'The Chronicle'. The lecture was followed by celebration of the International Women's Day, which was organised by the alumni association of the law college under the chairmanship of its President Adv Sanjit Dessai.
