The 47th annual Help Santa Toy Parade takes place from 11 a.m. to about 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The parade starts at the National Archives on Wellington Street and runs along Bank Street and Laurier Avenue to Ottawa City Hall. Ottawa firefighters will collect new toys and cash donations along the parade route. The weather forecast for Saturday might inspire some to peel off their big red coats, at least until the rain starts.
