Johnny Edwardthe PUNCH has reliably gathered that Dutch club, Heerenveen, have demanded a fee of €15m for Chidera Ejuke. Galatasaray, Besiktas, Lazio and AS Roma have all tabled offers for the 22-year-old, who scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 29 appearances across all competitions for Heerenveen during the 2019/20 season. “There are offers on the table from Italy, Turkey and Germany for Ejuke but the club (Heerenveen) has demanded more than what has been offered,” a close source to the player, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told The PUNCH. He left Nigeria in 2017 after playing for Gombe United in the Nigerian Professional Football League to start his European career in Norway with Valerenga, before joining Heerenveen.
