A mild heatwave is flowing over five districts of Bangladesh including Dhaka, and the heatwave may continue, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Sunday morning. According to the heatwave forecast, mild heatwave is moving over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Panchagarh, Moulvibazar and Feni districts and may continue. According to the Meteorological Department, the axis of monsoon is extending across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal and southern parts of Bangladesh to Assam. Monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal. Meanwhile, the weather forecast for the next 72 hours or three days from 9am on Monday has said that a low pressure may develop over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas during the time.
