KOTA KINABALU: Cycling has helped a National Heart Institute (IJN) employee to get back in shape and reduce his risk of developing coronary heart disease. It did not occur to him that he was unhealthy until he suffered a heart attack. “I find cycling is a very good activity for me as it helps to lower heart disease risk. But eating healthy and cycling regularly have helped me to maintain a better lifestyle. He advised youths undergo health screening regularly and take up cardio exercises to minimise risks of developing heart disease.
