"We have taken steps to provide six doctors for each upazila. The health minister added that most allegations of misconduct in the health sector are against doctors, particularly regarding their attendance in upazila health complexes. Regarding the recent drives by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) at several hospitals, the minister said the ACC found many doctors absent. The minister further said the ACC has brought corruption allegations against 23 junior officials of the health sector.
