Firefighters are battling a shed fire in Dunedin this morning. A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said they received a call to a shed on fire on Centre Rd, near Momona, about 6.20am. The shed, about 10 meters by 4 meters, was well-involved in fire — he said. ‘‘It appears it was a hay shed. ‘‘[Firefighters] were using hose reels and breathing apparatus to fight the fire.’’A tractor was used to pull the hay out of the shed and dampen the fire, he said.
