Harleston Primary pupils raise £2,000 for Guide Dogs Association


A pair of teachers from Harleston Primary Academy have thanked their children and the community after they raised £2,025 for the Guide Dogs Association. Fiona McGregor, from the town, who is registered blind, took in her guide dog, Winnie, to give the pupils a better understanding. Fiona McGregor, with Winnie the dog, her grandson, Andrew-James, and Richard Bussien. The grandmother to one of the school’s pupils said: “A massive thank you to the children, parents and staff for fundraising such a wonderful amount for Richard and Jill Bussien Guide Dogs Harleston and Diss fundraising group. “We are hoping to sponsor a guide dog with this money and will feel a sense of pride knowing that we have managed to help others.”
