The questioning of top BWDB officials has revealed “huge negligence” on part of the agency in charge of supervising the projects, Anti-Corruption Commission’s Director General Muhammad Munir Chowdhury said on Thursday. “They have failed to properly implement these projects. “Two contractors did not work after securing the dam projects. The ACC summoned four officials of the water resource ministry, including its joint secretary, over irregularities on Thursday. They are Joint Secretary Md Khalilur Rahman, Bangladesh Water Development Board Director General Jahangir Kabir, Additional Director General Abdul Hye and Supervising Engineer Harun Ur Rashid.
