more-inThe police arrested three CPI (Maoist) action team members and a newly recruited member. They also recovered a short weapon, ammunition, gelatin sticks and revolutionary literature from them. Hanamkonda ACP K. Muralidhar produced the arrested members before media at KU Campus police station in Hanamkonda on Tuesday. The newly recruited member was identified as Lingala Vennela alias Dhannu of Paidipalli in Hasanparthy mandal. The police also recovered photographs of the action team members carrying weapons in the forests and they were said to be tasked to carry out action on the targets given by the party.
