MUMBAI: Vodafone had an oops moment when Hindi film superstar Amitabh Bachchan tweeted that he could not send messages from his phone as they showed a failed status, but receiving them was not an issue.Amitabh Bachchan tweeted from his account @SrBachchan on Tuesday evening: “VODAFONE WE HAVE A PROBLEM..!! !”Rival Reliance Jio promptly spotted the tweet and offered to send Bachchan a Jio SIM card to his home and activate it via Aadhaar. Reliance Jio replied to Bachchan on the social media platform within 30 minutes. “Sir, we would be happy to deliver a Jio SIM to you & activate it instantly through our Aadhaar based eKYC home delivery process,” it said.In about half an hour after that, his Vodafone issue was resolved and the movie mogul tweeted about that as well. It has resulted in price wars that has eroded revenue and profitability for all operators.
