The hammer is set to go down in a bid to help the restoration project of New Zealand's oldest stone church. This time around the Stop-In team decided to donate its proceeds to the earthquake strengthening and remodelling of the Taranaki Cathedral Church of St Mary's of New Plymouth. The Cathedral Project has a $15 million target to reach for the 170-year-old stone masonry church and to date donors had pledged approximately $850,000 towards its restoration. "With our fundraising campaign gaining momentum, it's great that Stop In' are going to donate the proceeds to the Cathedral Project," said Jan Mason, cathedral project manager.
