Moran is among 10 songwriters short-listed for the finals of the award, which forms part of next month’s MLT NZ Gold Guitar Awards. She describes her song Gonna Turn as “helping us to change from the old to the new life we are destined for. Neilson is also nominated for the APRA Best Country Music Song for her track Queenie, Queenie, along with Delaney Davidson for Sleep and Kendall Elise Todd for Between Hello and Goodbye.
