The Waitara branch of the Ministry of Social Development is set for an upgrade. (file photo)The Waitara office of Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ) is to undergo three weeks of upgrade works later this month. The Ministry of Social Development changes will include a more welcoming office, clients having more privacy when they talk with a case manager, and added security. The service centre will be closed from May 24 to Friday, June 11. Services will continue as usual, with staff working at other sites.
