Pour vodka and raspberry liqueur into a cocktail shaker, along with a handful of ice and raspberries. If you are using coloured sugar, dip the rim of your glass into cold water, then into the sugar. Once frozen, fill the glasses with cubs and pour in sparkling wine and twists of citrus zest, if you want. Add several blackberries and an orange slice to each glass, and pour the punch out. In a measuring jug, combine the lemon juice, newly cooled sugar syrup and four cups of water before serving over ice.
