Bolstered by Halloween fun, autumn ushered in one of the most successful sales seasons for this time of year in The Villages. Technicians are busy applying spooky nail designs to clients’ toes and fingers at Nails & Beyond at Lake Deaton Plaza. Nearly 20 clients of late requested some type of holiday-themed nail design, said Barbara Nguyen, owner and salon manager. “And the color orange is really popular right now; it’s a bright neon orange.” Sales at all three of her salons in The Villages show similar trends. “For us, this kicks off the holiday season all the way through January,” Nguyen said.
