Halifax Police have issued a polite reminder to keep your doors locked after two women were mistaken for intruders while accidentally cleaning the wrong house. Police in Nova Scotia say two women cleaners went into the wrong home and cleaned someone’s house after the door was left unlocked. He said a neighbor contacted the homeowner, who then called the police, after noticing the women in the house with a vacuum cleaner and mop. “The investigation has determined that the house had been left unlocked in order for the neighbour to walk the owner's dog, however, the two women showed up, cleaned the house, and left without knowing they had the wrong address,” said Hutchinson. “They confirmed that, in fact, they had been provided with the wrong address and cleaned the wrong number.
