Police said while at that scene, officers stopped a vehicle similar to one they were looking for in connection to the Grafton Street assault. An 18-year-old Dartmouth man was arrested and is being held in lock-up until a court appearance on Monday. Halifax police said a man was seriously injured after an assault downtown early Saturday. Police said they were called to Grafton Street around 2:50 a.m. Saturday morning and found a 21-year-old man bleeding from his face. On Sunday morning, police said the man from Dartmouth had "life-threatening injuries."
