“India market is to get to nearly $500 million in size in about three years. This is an internal target. There are significant opportunities in India,” said one of the two persons cited above who did not wish to be quoted. Such an internal target could purely be motivational, said the second person aware of the matter. In January, Infosys won an about Rs 4,200 crore contract from the Income Tax Department to build the second phase of its Integrated E-filing and Centralised Processing Centre.
