BUCHAREST, Romania (AP) " Top-seeded Simona Halep swept past sixth-seeded Danka Kovinic of Montenegro 6-4, 6-2 to reach the Bucharest Open semifinals on Friday. In a bid for her second home title, and second WTA title of the year, she faces Vania King of the U.S. next. King defeated Pauline Parmentier of France 6-3, 6-1, saving all 12 break points she faced. Halep didn't face a break point. Errani still double-faulted once, lost all three of her second-serve points, and was broken three times.
