(PTI) Salem/New Delhi: Hadiya, the Kerala woman embroiled in the so-called "love jihad" case, said on Tuesday she wanted to meet her "husband" Shafin Jahan and hoped her homoeopathy college in Tamil Nadu would let her. "I have sought permission from the college authorities to meet my husband. A police officer assigned for her security said Hadiya could not be allowed to meet Shafin without court orders. A small group stood outside the college holding placards that read: "Stop judicial terrorism, we stand with you Hadiya" and "Allow her to live with her husband". Ashokan welcomed the apex court decision to let Hadiya resume her homoeopathy course and alleged she had been radicalised.
