Hours after the Twitter account of actor Amitabh Bachchan was hacked on Monday, Indian cybercrime agencies came across chatter on the dark web claiming responsibility for the act. On Tuesday, the same hackers allegedly hacked the Twitter account of singer Adnan Sami. Sources confirmed to The Hindu that a couple of hours after the account was hacked, chatter on the dark web attributed the act to a Middle Eastern hacker, who was widely lauded on the dark web through the night. “We observed certain elements boasting about the hack on the dark web. Sensitive details about the hacked account were also shared,” Special Inspector General of Police Brijesh Singh (Maharashtra Cyber), told The Hindu.
