MANILA, Philippines — The outer rainbands of Typhoon Julian as well as the southwest monsoon or “Habagat” is expected to bring rain over several areas in the country on Sunday night, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported. ADVERTISEMENTIn its weather bulletin, Pagasa said Typhoon Julian was located 775 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City in Cagayan as of 3 p.m.Pagasa said Julian is seen to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Monday evening or early Tuesday. Further, the state weather bureau said the typhoon’s outer rainbands together with the southwest monsoon will continue to bring rains over Luzon, including Metro Manila, Western Visayas, and the Samar provinces. The rest of the country can expect thunderstorms that will bring isolated rain, Pagasa said. No gale warning is raised over the country’s seaboards but the public is warned against sailing especially in eastern Visayas and Luzon.
