Android Police has reported the hardware specifications of Google’s next device, the HTC Marlin. The device will feature a USB Type-C port, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and will be powered by a 3450mAh battery. It’s expected to pack a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, (possibly the 820, or perhaps one of the newer iterations) with 4GB RAM and in 32GB and 128GB storage variants. Of course, until Google officially announces this device, al of these specifications should not be held as immutable. Google is said to be looking to launch a new smartphone built in-house sometime soon, but until then, the Nexus line seems to have decent prospects.
