NewsThe Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) is organising a Youth Camp to mark the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights at which youth from 25 districts will be brought together, a statement said. This Youth Camp is a residential programme and will take place for 5 days. The main objectives of the Youth Camp are to develop awareness and basic competencies knowledge, skills, and attitudes, and also appreciation of human rights value base that respects equality of freedom of choice, of speech,association and assembly. The Youth Camp will bring together 100 young people from various communities with different ethnic and religious background in the 25 districts. Application details can be collected from HRCSL website www.hrcsl.lk or respective Divisional Secretariat or HRCSL Regional Offices across the country.
