Cochin Airport was closed today (August 15) until 2 pm on August 18 due to heavy floods in the area and further updates on the situation are awaited from authorities there, the airline said today. “Accordingly, SriLankan Airlines wishes to inform all passengers booked to fly to or from Cochin during this period, that they may opt instead to fly from or to another city served by SriLankan in South India, at no extra charge,” it said.
