Stocks were positive at the break in Hong Kong today . The Hang Seng Index added 125.21 ppints, or 0.45 percent, at 27,940.81. Sunny Optical Technology (2382) advanced by 3.45 percent to HK$134.8, becoming the best performer among blue-chip stocks in the morning trading session. The worst performer among blue chips was Techtronic Industries (0669), whose shares fell by 1.41 percent to HK$69.9 Index heavyweight Tencent (0700) inched up by 0.63 percent to HK$417.6 with a market turnover of HK$2.13 billion. HSBC (0005), due to report results tomorrow, slid 0.75 percent to HK$59.2, while Hang Seng Bank (0011) added 0.37 percent to HK$164.5.
