Stocks in Hong Kong fell at midday after a positive start. The benchmark Hang Seng Index slipped by 0.18 percent, or 53.01 points at 28,901.93. Its shareholder The Carlyle cut its stake and cashed in at least HK$1.56 billion. China Resources & Transportation's (0269) share price plunged by 32 percent to HK$0.017, after resuming trading. The company announced last Friday that its vice chairman Fung Tsun-pong's Ocean Gain was forced to sell 53.77 million shares due to the failure in fulfilling a margin call.
