P15-M ‘exotic meat’ seized from Chinese national, 2 others in Manila 2 SHARES Share it! Share TweetBy Minka Klaudia TiangcoAbout 6.1 tons of contraband meat and wildlife worth about P15 million were seized from a Chinese national and two others in Binondo, Manila Monday evening. The Manila Public Information Office identified the suspects as Cai Chang Fen, Rogelio Endrinal, and Joshua Almario. The two Filipino suspects said they only served as driver and helper and that Fen was the owner of the contraband meat. They will be charged for violation of Republic Act 10536 (Meat Inspection Code of the Philippines), Republic Act 10611 (Food Safety Act), and Republic Act 9147 (Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act).
