Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor’s popularity rating has dropped to 25.6 points out of 100, with over 60 percent of the respondents dissatisfied with the performance of the government, a recent public opinion survey has found. Lam’s rating of 25.6 points out of 100 is slightly lower than the 26.1 she scored in November. Among the HKSAR administration, finance chief Paul Chan Mo-po scored the highest of 30.2 points, followed by Chief Secretary for Administration Matthew Cheung Kin-chung’s 26.9 points. While Secretary for Justice Teresa Cheng Yeuk-wah scored the lowest of 19.9 points among the four. The points scored by the three secretaries have slightly dropped compared to the results last month.
